FAQs

WHERE CAN I BUY REACH TOOTHBRUSHES?

Find our toothbrushes at food, drug, and mass merchandise outlets nationwide.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REPLACE MY TOOTHBRUSH?

To ensure superior cleaning, all toothbrushes should be replaced every 3 months or sooner if the bristles are frayed.

WHAT IS THE BEST BRUSHING ROUTINE?

For best results, brush your teeth for two minutes twice a day. The American Dental Association recommends placing the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle against the gums; moving the brush back and forth gently in short (tooth-wide) strokes; brushing the outer tooth surfaces, the inner tooth surfaces and the chewing surfaces of the teeth; using the “toe” of the brush to clean the inside surfaces of the front teeth, with a gentle up-and-down stroke; and brushing the tongue to help remove bacteria and freshen breath. ARE ELECTRIC BRUSHES BETTER THAN MANUAL BRUSHES?

According to the American Dental Association, both manual and electric toothbrushes can effectively and thoroughly clean your teeth. Finding a toothbrush that cleans away plaque on the teeth and along the gum line is essential. Talk to your dentist or dental hygienist about the most suitable brush for you.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY BRUSH AFTER USE?

Rinse your toothbrush with tap water after brushing to remove any remaining toothpaste and debris. Store the brush in an upright position if possible and allow it to air dry until using it again.

WHAT ARE SOME TIPS AND TRICKS TO KEEP MY MOUTH HEALTHY AND FEELING GOOD?

  • Brush your teeth for 2 minutes, twice a day using a toothpaste containing fluoride.
  • Along with all other tooth surfaces, remember to also brush the inner surfaces of your teeth to remove plaque.
  • Help freshen your breath by brushing your tongue to help remove bacteria.
  • Floss between your teeth once a day to remove plaque in areas where toothbrushes cannot reach. Un-removed plaque will harden into tartar, which can only be removed with a professional cleaning.
  • Worn bristles are less effective, so replace your brush at least every 3 months.
  • Schedule regular dental visits.
